Contacted the artists.

Rachel and I were placed in charge of liaising with the artists. We went about this by going and finding them as a group. After finding Matt in the studio and talking him through our plans, I then went and email him a brief summary to check that everything was clear and informed the other two of our plans. This is what i sent out.

Well basically we were were wondering if your free this thursday at all- about 12:15, in the space by the bins outside the metal workshop? Just so we can all meet up and go look at the space together. Also we were hoping if you could get some ideas together for the exhibition on what work you might want to do or use, just so we have a rough idea of what we have got.

I've heard from other member of my group that you are into performance, and we would quite like this to be your contribution to our exhibition, if you still feel comfortable with this idea. :)

We have the private view on thursday 17th february from 5-8 pm we would love it for you to be there :)

safe! i've got a tutorial on thursday but i assume i'll be done by then if im not i'll ring ya an we can chat in my studio. im happy to do whatever you lot want. im more into intervention then performmance but i can do poetry readings or acoustic stuff? if not i can do an art performance related to the space. i'll speek to ya tommorow

I'm part of the group that are using your work for the exhibition that we are putting together and I thought that I'd just give you some information on it.

we are doing the exhibition on anarchy and really like your work. What we plan on doing is using yours, Niall and Matts work, and showing it in the space outside by the metal workshop on the bins. This does mean that it'll be exposed to a little bit of the elements which if you don't feel comfortable with we understand and just let us know so that we can change our plans.

If you still want to do it then could we ask that you have your work ready for us on friday 11th february and be in your studio when we come to pick it up so we know what you want to use exactly. If you needed more time we could push it to monday 14th february at the very latest. We put the work up on wednesday 16th february, and it'll be up over night and all day thursday. :)

Hey Becki,

I'm more than happy to for you guys to use my work for your exhibition :-) My only concern is that my work is not waterproof! I could probably laminate it??
I suppose we will discuss this tomorrow! See you then!

Thats great thank you. Erm well we do have some areas that are more sheltered to use, like the stairwell bit that goes up to the print room? laminating could be a good idea though if that would be possible?

we can talk about it properly tomorrow with the rest of the group because i'm not sure tbh :) see you tomorrow :)
